Sent to my elderly mother thought it was legit & called the # listed (1-855-549-2176). Joe (no last name) & another man kept pressuring my mom about an expiring Home Warranty Loan. Note she does NOT have such an account. They were trying to scare her by saying she needed this in case her furnace & other appliances broke or her house needed repairs. Wish ther was a way to really stop these scumbags!

He said my home was old and we are too. He said we need this warranty because our loan company will not cover it. He was not listening and was rude. And he called me back when I hung up. I advised him do not call us anymore. Do not send anymore letters with our name or to this address. Just was rude and we don't deserve this treatment.

I receive the pink letters. My phone number to call was the 1-844-352-2015. I have a protection plan with American Home Protect, actually given to me for a year by my mortgage advisor. I get the companies mixed up so called the number on the letter. They are the one in these complaints. Was given to Jesica.. a real saleswoman. "Let me finish" was her favorite line. Same set up as my company. You pay for 18 months and then off for 18 mos. I had just finished paying my company's and she tried to tell me I'd save starting with them. I called my co who are very calm....I would get no refund for canceling to pay Jessica. Then she claimed she could get me lower prices. That's after I ended our call by saying no and goodbye. She says I hung up on her, I guess I did since she was still talking. I'm not sure they're a scam but they are aggressive. Ive had an AC repair and a washer water pump repair under MY company. I know I'm paying more up front but if I ever need a new HVAC and a crane to get onto the condo roof, I cant afford that.

Envelope states "Personal and Confidential - Open Immediately." Pink letter states my home warranty (never existed) with Bank (out of business 10+ years) has expired. Rude rep Joe tries to get me to tell him personal information about my home in order to sell me garbage warranty. These terroristic tactics by liars MUST BE STOPPED! This is Aegis Home Warranty, which are apparently nothing more than scammers and identity thieves. FTC NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE SCAMMERS.

AWG card came saying Washington Mutual warranty on house was expired or about to expire. Everybody should know your mortgage company does not put warranty on your house. Especially one you have not had for the last 15 years. Please do not fall for this especially elderly people. There are home warranties for a price but not through your bank or mortgage company.

I Suddenly lost my mother on in October of 2019 and a having to take care of all of there business. All of this has caused me great grief and stress. This company sent me a letter stating my home warranty was expiring. The AWG letter was on pink paper and addressed to my mothers name. The lady I spoke with asked me all sorts of personal questions, which I did not answer. It did not take me long to figure out it was a scam. I've been trying to timely and effectively take care of my mother's business long distance and this caused much undue stress and fear. Cathy Fratesi

Since I don't answer robocalls, I don't know if the company has tried to call me in the past - but last year I received several 'pink notices' of my supposed expiring home warranty contract, which I did not have. Today I received another of those pink notices from AWG, again telling me my warranty was expiring. Since I have never had a home warranty, not last year, nor this year, I was quite sure it was a scam and just ignored the letters. Glad to have checked your site for the confirmation of my doubt.

I was connect to a sales representative named Mia. She presented a Home Warranty package for 3 yrs that would cost; 1st Option $3,925 for the Quick Payment package (1st payment$595 & ($293 for 10 months)) 2nd Option $3,970 for the standard Payment package of (1st payment $295 & (245 for 15 months)). I would cover all the pluming, appliances, Furnaces include A/C, & more and that any problems would be taken care of in 24 hours. When I asked where the send the check Mia would give me only a PO box. When I asked for full address not a PO box they claimed they were not allowed to give it out for reasons of protecting employees. Mia said that they have subcontractors that do the work, but when I asked for a name of one of the subcontractors she wasn't allowed to give that information out. They have the information available to locate them and by scamming individuals using the US Mail to commit these crimes are a federal crime. Mailing, a pink letter which comes in an envelope marked "Personal and Confidential - Open Immediately" "This letter is to inform you that the property's home warranty, at [my address], secured by [actual name of my bank], may be expiring or may have already expired." For folks who haven't heard about it, there are legitimate companies that sell home warranties to cover household repairs. NOTE THAT THIS SCAMMER IS NOT ONE OF THOSE LEGIT COMPANIES! I didn't fall for this, and you shouldn't either. I looked into filing a consumer complaint but from what I read on my state's website, since I haven't actually done business with them, I have no standing to file a complaint against them. I have filed a complaint with the FTC.

The women was rude and kept saying I had to have it, what if something happened to furnace, hot water heater, air conditioner and I told her 4 times I have warrenty I take out every year with the gas company; and any other appliances I can replace. I just received another pink letter and I am going to tear it into little pieces. My son who has his own business on wall street said don't worry about anything, he will take care of anything I need. The women said then she has to talk to him because he is power of attorney. I hung up on her. Under stand the reverse mortgage is great; but this is bad.
